Cans such as this held your supply of lamp oil and was a handy device for filling the narrow openings on Betty lamps and not over fill pan or grease lamps. Easy to use as you most likely had to do this most everyday. Nice untouched painted surface with the wear you would expect. It is is 8" high x 5 1/2" diameter base.
