What a unique thing. Here is a lovely dought board in paint. It has a coat of gray blue over the old red. It has a fine scrubbed surface on the inside, and held together with square and round nails. You can see where the old square nails just rusted clean through. And I love the way there is wear on the edge where it would have rubbed on her belly every day. It measures 20" x 19" x 2 1/2" tall.
Painted dough board SOLD.
Here is a great old sap bucket, but in a nice large size. It measures 14 1/2" tall and varies from 12-13" in diameter. It is in good old condition, with perfect old original red paint, all pine with its original iron bands. Someone has added some green felt to the bottom edge, to protect her table I would assume.
Sap Bucket $240.
This lovely candle box has a nice old dark pine surface, and is stamped with James Abbott's name stamed on the top. It has a little slit on one end for an old lock. Wonder what he kept in there? It measures 10 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 3".
Candlebox $165.
Nice large early American trencher. Made of pine, it measures 28 1/2" x 14 1/2"x 4 1/2". It has a nice dry surface, never finished.
